That may be what the campers thought when the
WM MARKET and the
PUT-IN-BAY pulled into the state park on May 19, 2000. Actually the ferries were seeking refuge from the high winds that made regular operations cease for six hours. You can't tell it by looking at the almost placid water here but a closer look reveals the water is up about three feet, having been moved by the strong winds.
